Tenteris joins NAI Hiffman

tenteris-mike_1Mike Tenteris has joined NAI Hiffman as senior vice president with their Investment Services Group. He will focus exclusively on industrial sales throughout Chicago and the Midwest, advising clients regarding the acquisition and disposition of industrial real estate.

Tenteris will be partnering with Chad Firsel, executive vice president and head of NAI Hiffman’s Investment Services Group.

Tenteris comes to NAI Hiffman with extensive commercial real estate experience representing both owners and buyers of industrial assets, as well as corporations and private equity funds in executing sale/leaseback transactions. A Chicago native, he started his career in Chicago at Grubb and Ellis, moving to Cushman & Wakefield, where he spent four years as part of the Financial Services Group. Most recently, Tenteris spent three years with Converse Capital where he brought his career total to over 19.5 million square feet of industrial investment sales.

Tenteris graduated from Bradley University in Peoria with a bachelor of science degree in finance.

NAI HIFFMAN BROKERS 415,800-SQUARE-FOOT LEASE AT CENTERPOINT INTERMODAL CENTER

ELWOOD, ILL. — NAI Hiffman, on behalf of owner CenterPoint Properties, has negotiated a long-term lease for 415,800 square feet of industrial space at the CenterPoint Intermodal Center in Elwood. Alliance 3PL, an Illinois-based specialty warehousing and transportation management services company, will occupy space in one of the two speculative Import Distribution Centers (IDC), which together total 2.4 million square feet. Construction of the first IDC facility was completed late last year, while work on the second building is expected to commence this spring. Alliance 3PL’s portion of the space features 32-foot clear ceiling heights, 108 trailer spaces, 53 dock doors and an office component. The company relocated from an office in Bolingbrook, Ill., in order to operate adjacent to the BNSF Logistics Park-Chicago.
