NAI Hiffman Offers EMEA Services Through Dubai’s JAJ Consultants

Dubai, UAE – (Aug 25, 2011) – NAI Global, one of the largest real estate services providers worldwide, will officially announce its new strategic alliance with Dubai’s JAJ Consultants at the upcoming Cityscape Global Exhibition & Conference, to be held September 27-29 at the Dubai International Conference & Exhibition Centre. Headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with a second office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, JAJ Consultants is a leading provider of asset valuations, appraisals and strategy consulting services in the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.

Through its alliance with NAI Global, JAJ will collaborate with NAI offices to provide consulting services relating to strategy, valuations, development feasibility, highest and best use consulting to NAI clients. The alliance will focus on the Middle East, GCC and Asia Pacific regions but can provide service to clients in Europe, Africa and The Americas as well.

“For NAI Hiffman’s clients in the United States, the alliance provides access to the Middle Eastern and Asian markets directly through our Chicago office,” said David Petersen, CEO of NAI Hiffman, the Chicago-area representative of NAI Global.

JAJ has been active in the Middle East and GCC for over 33 years and has extensive expertise in valuation and appraisal of land, building, structures and civil works, and various types of industrial valuation including plants, machinery, equipment, large industries, factories, stocks, goods in trade and transit.

NAI Hiffman completes several retail and office leases in Western Suburbs

NAI Hiffman has recently completed a slew of retail and office leases in the western suburbs, totaling more than 84,000 square feet.

Lifestyle retail center Oak Brook Promenade has seen a recent flurry of leases signed, including an office transaction, totaling 34,896 square feet, bringing a wide range of new merchants to the western suburbs. Most recently, Select Comfort , known for their Sleep Number beds, signed a lease for 3,570 square feet and will open their doors at the center in the fourth quarter. Thomasville Furniture , which will open in the next few weeks, took the largest space in the center, consummating a long-term lease for 12,406 square feet next door to Italian steakhouse, Grotto Oak Brook, overlooking the public fountain and walkways.

Totopo Mexican grill also recently opened a 3,314-square-foot restaurant next door neighbor Kona Grill.

Packaging design firm TricorBraun has taken 9,038 square feet of office space above Thomasville, and will open its doors in the fourth quarter.

Claire Bitautas and Anne Callard of NAI Hiffman handle the retail leasing for the Promenade, while Brian Edgerton, also with NAI Hffiman, represents the center for office tenants.

In a separate transaction, NAI Hiffman’s office leasing team recently reported that it completed more than 50,000 square feet in leases on behalf of The Hayman Company, court appointed receiver for Roosevelt Glen Corporate Center in Glen Ellen, Illinois. The property, a 233,000-square-foot, seven-building complex which went into receivership just over a year ago, is located at the southwest corner of Route 53 and Route 38 in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, just west of I-355.  Since being awarded the assignment, NAI Hiffman’s team has brought the complex to sixty percent occupancy through renewals, expansions, and new tenant signings.

O’Neill Adds New Lease for Fox Valley Commons

Aurora, IL – (August 23, 2011) – Daniel O’Neill, executive vice president with NAI Hiffman, has brokered a 2,041-square-foot lease for USDA-NCRS on behalf of the owners of Fox Valley Commons, located at 4255 Westbrook Drive in Aurora, Illinois.

NAI Hiffman’s Leslie Yurek and Adam Johnson completed   more than 50k SF in leases for court-appointed receiver The Hayman Co at    Roosevelt Glen Corporate Center, a seven-building center at the southwest corner   of Route 53 and Route 38 in Glen Ellyn. The complex is now 60% leased, thanks in   part to the Hayman Co keeping up the property, Leslie says.
